Antibiotic Duo Pellets combine two popular antibiotics to provide a broad spectrum treatment against both gram positive and gram negative infections.  Contains a full dose of erythromycin and doxycycline hyclate.  This combination has been shown to be more effective that with treating each drug on its own.
 
Erythromycin is a common antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial ailments.
 
Doxycycline Hyclate is a broad spectrum antibiotic derived from oxytetracycline; and unlike other tetracycline medications doxycycline hyclate remains effective in any pH environment.
Common behavioral changes that indicate a bacterial infection include clamped fins, swollen eyes, gills held open, pumping gills and gulping through mouth, patchy coloration, change in swimming behavior, becoming shy or hiding, and other unexplained changes in behavior.
 
Effective against: Both gram positive and gram negative bacterial ailments, such as Columnaris, Fin & Tail Rot, Septicemia, Mouth Rot, Popeye and other diseased caused by Flavobacterium columnare, Haemophilus piscium, Aeromonas punctata, Aeromonas hydrophila, and Cytophaga aquatilis bacteria.
 
Treatment: Offer as the only food for 10-14 days. Closely monitor water parameters and do water changes as necessary if nitrifying bacteria are negatively affected.
 
Non-toxic to invertebrates
NOTE: As with any antibiotic, once started continue for the minimum number of days to avoid bacteria becoming resistant to this medication.
